Michael has served at Versailles Baptist since 2007. He
became the Senior Pastor in 2014 after serving as the Minister
of Discipleship and Evangelism for six years.
Michael is passionate about preaching God's Word and seeks to help people apply it to their lives. He loves missions and had been involved with the Casa Hogar Emmanuel Orphanage in Naco, Mexico for over 15 years.
He is married to the love of his life, Carrie, and they have three elementary age children, Jackson, Kennedy, and Madison.
Michael holds a Doctorate in Preaching from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY.
Jonathan began his ministry at Versailles Baptist in July 2014. He previously served as an Associate Pastor at churches in KY and Delaware.
As the Minister of Adults, Jonathan strives to carry out the vision of the church to those post college through senior adult. He gives direction to Sunday School, First Impressions, Missions, men’s/women’s ministries, and all adult discipleship opportunities.
Jonathan has a Bachelors from Mississippi College and a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.
Jonathan is a native of Mississippi and is married to Reagan. They have four children, Stella, Addis, Kona, and Violet.
Kevin began his ministry at Versailles Baptist in January 2014. Prior to coming to Versailles, Kevin served as a senior pastor for 12 years and as youth pastor at Buck Run (Frankfort) and Rich Pond (Bowling Green).
Kevin leads our ministry to youth and their families. He seeks to train teens in a program of discipleship.
Kevin has a Bachelors from Western KY University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.
Kevin and his wife Dana have three children, Reagan, Ryan and Morgan.
Will joined the ministry team in January 2016. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music
from Furman University in Greenville, SC and a Master of Church Music degree from Southern
Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
loves the Lord and is committed to teaching the truth of God's Word
through corporate worship. It is his desire to see the Bride of Christ unified in bringing glory to their Maker. In addition to worship responsibilities, Will oversees our media and 50+ ministries.
He met his wife, Caitlin, at Furman University. She works part time as Physician Assistant in Lexington. They have two boys, Henry and Theodore.
Lauren Parish began her ministry at Versailles Baptist in December 2014. She is a children’s worship leader and songwriter from the Dayton, OH area. She felt the call to children’s ministry in junior high. In addition to the musical aspect of children’s ministry, she enjoys sharing the love of Jesus with children through creative skits and dramas.
In addition to her work in children’s ministry, Lauren
writes and performs in a variety of genres, including musical theater,
opera, pop, and Southern Gospel.
Lauren graduated from Anderson University in Indiana in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Christian Ministries.
and Nirma began their ministry with Versailles Baptist in 2010. They
are missionaries who came to the US from Chile to minister to the
Spanish speaking population. Additionally, they minister with churches
Emilio and Nirma direct a weekly worship service in Spanish and an adult Bible study. They also help provide leadership to our Hispanic Homework Club.
Glyn has been on staff since 2007. Before coming to Versailles Baptist he worked 31 years with Bellsouth.
Glyn is responsible for the administrative, facility, and communication needs of the church.
He holds a bachelors Degree from Western Kentucky University and is a third degree black belt in Tang Soo Do.
Glyn and his wife, Lea, have three adult children, Ross, Allison, and Paige.
Diane joined the Versailles Baptist staff in 2015. She provides financial and accounting support to our church body.
Virginia has been on staff since 2007. She oversees the custodial and food service needs of the church. In addition to cleaning, Virginia is the cook for our Wednesday night meals.
She and her husband Ralph have 4 adult sons.
