Connor Alford
sEnior pastor
Connor began his ministry at Versailles Baptist Church in November 2022. He seeks to preach Biblical sermons that lead people to Christ and care for the flock that God has called him to shepherd.
Connor has a BBA from Mississippi State University and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist, Theological Seminary. He is currently a PhD candidate at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Connor and his wife, Erin, have one son, Henry.
Jonathan Berry
Associate Pastor / Minister to Adults
Jonathan began his ministry at Versailles Baptist in July 2014. He previously served as an Associate Pastor at churches in KY and Delaware.
Jonathan gives direction to Sunday School, First Impressions, Missions, men’s/women’s ministries, and all adult discipleship opportunities.
Jonathan has a Bachelors from Mississippi College and a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.
Jonathan is a native of Mississippi and is married to Reagan. They have four children, Stella, Addis, Kona, and Violet.
Kevin Hash
Minister to Students and families
Kevin began his ministry at Versailles Baptist in January 2014. He leads our ministry to youth and their families. He seeks to train teens in a program of discipleship.
Kevin has a Bachelors from Western KY University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.
Kevin and his wife Dana have three children, Reagan, Ryan and Morgan.

MATTHEW PETTIGREW
minister of worship
Matthew first joined the staff at Versailles Baptist in 2018 as an Accompanist and Ministry Associate, serving regularly in the Worship and Youth Ministries.
As Minister of Worship, Matthew seeks to lead the church in gospel centered worship, cultivating a lifestyle that always strives to bring glory to God.
Matthew has degrees in Music, including a Masters in Piano Performance from Eastern Kentucky University.
Autumn Thompson
minister to children and families
Autumn joined the ministry team at Versailles Baptist in October 2019. Her desire
is to partner with parents to establish a Christian foundation in the lives of children through fun, exciting, and gospel-centered activities.
Autumn has a BA in Christian Ministry and a Master of Divinity, both from Anderson University in Anderson, SC.
Autumn is married to Jake and they love to spend time outdoors and playing tennis.

Emilio zapata
minister to hispanics
Emilio
began his ministry with Versailles Baptist in 2010. He and his wife, Nirma, are missionaries from Chile who came to the US to minister to the
Spanish speaking population. In addition to Versailles Baptist, they minister with churches
in Nicholasville.
Emilio and Nirma direct a weekly worship service in Spanish and an adult Bible study. They also help provide leadership to our Hispanic Homework Club.
LISA WOLFZORN
CongregationaL Care Minister
Lisa began her ministry here in September 2022. Her experience in ministry, training in counseling, and personal passions uniquely equip her for this role. Lisa seeks to honor God through a vibrant senior adult ministry and providing care for the congregation.
Lisa graduated from Georgetown College with a degree in English and Secondary Education, and she has her Master's degree from Regent University in Pastoral Counseling. She and her family served for 14 years in the Muslim world and continue to have a heart for the nations. She and her husband Mike have four children and a daughter-in-law: David & Jenn, Abby, Annie, and Emma.

Diane joined the staff in 2015. She provides financial and accounting support and well as support for the Senior Pastor. Diane is very grateful to get to work with such an incredible team and to serve the church. She has a BBA from EKU in Marketing and Business Administration and brings 15 years of nonprofit experience to her service here. When not at work, Diane can usually be found working in her yard or watching hockey.

Emily joined the staff in 2023. She manages the facilities and the office and provides support for the worship, adult, and student ministries.

Kendra Lopez
Communications Coordinator / ministry assistant
Kendra joined the staff in 2018. She manages all publications and provides support for kids, senior adults, and Hispanic ministries.

Micha gehring
CHOIR DIRECTOR
Micha Gehring is a professional musician and teacher with over 20 years experience in her field. Micha holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, and a Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University College of Fine Arts. She began her career as a classically trained opera singer and musical theater performer, before transitioning into the field of teaching music. She has authored two creative music education guides that were distributed to all 120 counties in the state of Kentucky in association with The Lexington Philharmonic (Music Builds Education and Voices of America), as well as an extensive research project entitled A New Vision for Education: STEM to STEAM. Micha is a former member of The Lexington Singers, and holds active memberships with KMEA and NAFME, the state and national music education associations, as well as KYACDA, the Kentucky Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. She was once a resident teaching artist with Cincinnati Opera, and her fun claim to fame is that she once sang onstage with Josh Groban in front of 25,000 people!
Micha lives in Jessamine County in a cozy log cabin with her husband Andrew, son Kayden, and two dogs, Chandler and Lucy.
